Dr. Matt Asks some important questions of interest to Ventura residents - Chiropractor Ventura Dr. Matt Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Ventura folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Which organs are extra?
You don't have any spare parts. Sure, we can survive without our tonsils, appendix, gall bladder and several other tissues, but each serves a purpose. We chiropractors recognize this. So the chiropractic approach I use in Ventura is to reduce nerve interferences to the control and regulation of every tissue, organ and system of your body.

Your Second Visit to Our Ventura Practice

During this visit, we will let you know if chiropractic is something that can help you. Our office is very unique in providing both traditional chiropractic as well as non-force adjustment so we can work with you even if you have osteoporosis, had back or neck surgery in the past, as well as many other situations. If we're are unable to find the cause of your particular health problem, we will refer you to other specialists who may be able to help. Your health is our primary goal.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you regain and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings. During this time we will answer the following questions:

  • Am I a chiropractic candidate?
  • How long is it going to take?
  • How much is it going to cost?

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Leonard we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on how unique and urgent your situation is. Click Here to view the Regular Visit.
